The survey results determined that John
Weber’s site visits are beneficial to youth, the youth are willing to
continue their participation in John Weber’s site visits, and John
Weber visits would be beneficial to other youth. This mentoring program is
planning on continuing with the Alternative Learning Center youth. This
mentoring program plans on continuing because the survey results determined
that 88% of the youth strongly agreed or agreed they have learned something
new about smoking from John Weber. The results also determined 92% youth
strongly agreed or agreed they have learned new things about lung cancer for
John Weber. The survey concluded that 80% of the youth strongly agreed or
agreed the information John Weber provided to them was valuable. The study
determined that 72% youth strongly or agreed that this experience has been
beneficial to them. The survey
also determined that 80% of the youth strongly agreed or agreed that they
enjoyed the John Weber site visits. In addition, the survey determined that
76% of the youth strongly agreed or agreed that they would be willing to
participate in other activities that involve John Weber. The survey
furthermore determined that 92% of the youth strongly agreed or agreed that
John Weber’s site visits would be beneficial to other youth. |

I have quit smoking
since Christmas. ·
I think what Mr. Weber
is doing is great. He is not afraid of telling us what it is really like to
go through everything he did. ·
John Weber grads your
attention he tells the facts and that scares a lot of young students they do
not think that it could ever happen to them just by smoking a few cigarettes
a day or a pack a day. They do not look as it is a life or death situation or
it could disease that could cut off your airway or esophagus. ·
I just think he was a very
entertaining speaker, who said it how it was and how it could possibly be. By
entertaining, I mean he held people’s attention very well and nobody
felt they had to interrupt. |
